I'm back and refreshed. Somehwere along the path I dropped my smile. Luckily for me I left a trail of breadcrumbs to re-trace and renew my steps. On with the show!
Tarot by sonic was started two years ago and thanks to many incredible individuals I am still here and I am still humbled! Imagine that.
Friends and Family have always wondered about me. Quite frankly I cannot blame them. To be honest none of my family are even aware of my gifts. I was told once that I chose my mother because I wanted to make sure I was aware earlier in this lifetime than in times that have gone past. I am nothing like the rest of my family. I am truly odd man out. And while everyone sits around the fire telling old family stories, I am the one commanding the flame with the whisk of my fingers. It is not a dream my friends, it is a reality. There is no such thing as coincidence in this lifetime, or haven't you figured that out yet? Welcome to my world.
They say a penny saved is a penny earned. They say kindness is worth it's weight in gold. They are the people that are labeled the masses. Your mother, your brother, your friend. They are all... well they. But do they ever tell you to remember your thoughts? Did they remind you on a daily basis as you struggled to reach the age you are now that the inner voice is the only 'they' that is worth listening too? Let me tell you who MY they are. My they, are the voices inside guiding me into your visions when I shuffle these pieces of colored paper. My they, are the guides/angels/spirits that are with me 24/7 and protect me throughout the course of this god-like and often times disappointing human encounter. They do not make our decisions, they are not the cause of bad choices and they have no control over anything here. The best piece of advice I will ever give you is to trust yourself. If you can truly do that- they would love to talk to you. I'm not one of them. I am one of you and I am only their messenger.
Paganism, Christianity, Judaism, Zen. I don't think that any one belief has gotten it right yet. The only thing in life you can ever bet on is balance. The atheists [I believe] are waiting for this big fireball to shoot out of the sky or hoping they'll find a personal Sanskrit from God in a bottle on some exotic beach somewhere that holds all the answers. The agnostics simply haven't read the cliff notes. But I ask you, who's fault is that [insert whaling laughter here lol]. My dear friends, let me reassure of you of something. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow with or without us, and as sure as the moon will rise upon the departure of that very sun, life goes on with one single principle in mind, and that is with balance.
You cannot have good without bad. You cannot have up without down. You cannot have disbelief, without belief. It doesn't matter if the principals of existence are based on human behavior, gravity, or a genetic code. There will always be balance. Agnostics just need to work it out in their own space. The atheists are much more ahead of the game and it would be nice to see the scales tipped for the big man out there but I won't hold my breath. The end result is your yellow. I call it your smile. Whatever you want to call it-wherever it may be, I hope you find it. More importantly I hope you know what it is and how to get it. If you have it, keep it with you always. There is a reason I don't look like my age. And the pharmacist says it's from my daily vitamins and bottled water...HA!
